This short essay explores the role of technology in the 2020 UK coronavirus lockdown. Looking at how digital inequalities, in available technology and operators influenced and directed the performance of 'Popular Worship Music'. One of the key practices highlighted is multi-screen worship where multiple videos filmed at separate occasions are edited together as one performance. The essay then explores the problems this creates in terms of liveness and the need for 'actually worshipping' in worship leading.
